Jane McDonald: Back on TV & In The Canary Islands
Jane McDonald, the queen of travel TV shows, is back with a new series on Channel 5: Canary Islands with Jane McDonald.
The singer and TV presenter will embark on an island-hopping journey, over 4 episodes, beginning in Tenerife. Her visit to the Canaries largest island will see her enjoying some of our favourite activities, like the exciting waterslides at Siam Park. She'll also be venturing out to experience the incredible Mount Teide national park, a banana plantation and even a ferry ride over to neighbouring island La Gomera.
She'll also be eating like (and with) the locals at Canarian restaurants and enjoying the high-life in one of the island's main resorts, Playa de las Americas.
We're thrilled that Jane McDonald is highlighting these fabulous islands. At the Travel Village we're huge fans of holidays - year-round - to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura. They're perfect for family holidays in the summer, hiking and adventure trips in the spring and autumn, and topping up the tan with winter sunshine!
